Congrats are in order to former NHL player Sean Avery, 33, and now-fiancee model Hilary Rhoda, 26, who announced their
engagement on Wednesday to People Magazine, telling the mag: “We are very happy to announce our engagement. We are excited to plan the most beautiful and fun wedding that we could every imagine.” The couple have been together on and off for the past three years.
Avery spent a decade in the NHL, playing 580 regular season games in the league. He’s suited up for the Detroit Red Wings, the LA Kings, the Dallas Stars, and the New York Rangers. Born in Pickering, Ontario, Canada, the retired center notched 90 goals and 157 assists during his career.
Rhoda was most recently part of the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show which took place on a couple ofdays ago. Rhoda has worked for some of the biggest names in fashion and beauty, including Estee Lauder, Michael Kors, Miu Miu and so much more. Rhoda has also been featured in Sports Illustrated.
